Many of you know that I’ve been working on writing a book for the better part of two years now.  And, to be honest, the content has been brewing inside of me in various ways for closer to a decade now.  This is truly a work of the heart and represents both my deepest frustration with today’s modern western church system and my greatest longing for something greater just beyond our fingertips’ reach.

And you, my friends, have unwittingly been a part of the journey.  A great number of the thoughts shared here at DespisedSamaritan form the backbone of what is now put together into this book, “Deconstructing Church: the allure of the machine and the hope for a better way”.  So I wanted to thank all of you who have been here since the site’s inception and I encourage you to continue walking with me.

And for those of you new to the site, I would encourage you to browse a bit and get comfortable.  Well, as comfortable as a blog like this will allow.  Maybe together, we can stretch just a little further and finally grasp that which has seemed so unattainable for so long.   And even if not, I know we’ll celebrate together having tasted just a hint of the glory to come.
